Who are Sue and Robyn?
Sue Schnitzer

In December of 1992, Sue was a Special Agent of the FBI in San Francisco. When her daughter Jamie was born, Sue took a few months off to enjoy motherhood and lots of hilly walks. She also took out her guitar and sang and played for Jamie. In fall 1993 Sue decided to turn in her badge and move to Boulder, Colorado with her family. She also decided she wanted to be a children’s musician. That was great news to Sue's Mom, a former librarian, because Sue had often sung at her Mom's library in Malden,Massachusetts.
In the summer of 1994, after a lot of research and practice, Sue contacted local preschools and began doing shows. In September 1994, soon after the birth of Becky, Sue began teaching a music and movement class one evening a week at Parenting Place in Boulder. After a few months she added a day class and then more classes, and then concerts and soon she became known as “the music lady”, “Miss Sue”, “the music teacher”, and of course, “Jamie and Becky's Mom”. Now, she is well known throughout northern Colorado as a singer, songwriter, guitarist, performer, and teacher who specializes in music for young children and their families.
Sue primarily performs at libraries, festivals, and elementary schools. She also leads songwriting workshops for schools and libraries.
Sue’s energetic performances get children and parents singing and dancing along. Her award winning CD’s have been described as like having a “Mommy and Me” music class in your home.
Robyn Winters-Hills About Seven Years ago Robyn Winters-Hills Started meditating and began to see her life transform in remarkable ways. Within a year of meditating on a regular basis, she was able to gain control of her life, heal from depression and debilitating panic attacks and obtain personal and career goals beyond what she thought imaginable. It is her firm belief that meditation was a key factor in this transformation. “It’s not that meditation magically made these things appear in my life but it was instrumental in my becoming a centered and wholesome person, which allowed me to make healthy choices to achieve the things that I wanted in life.” Because meditation has made such a difference in Robyn’s life, she felt that she should teach others to benefit, and experience her same successes. So, she created her own company, The Mind Body Connection, to reach out to others and do just that. “People of any age can benefit from the principal’s meditation. Even small children can learn and respond well to slowing down and taking a deep breath.” Robyn has recently partnered with Sue Schnitzer, an international award winner of children’s music and owner of Wee Bee Music, to put together a Kids are All Stars program. The program is designed to teach children how to use principles of meditation to deal with stressful situations in life such as: Bullying, Self-Esteem, Anger and Peer Pressure.
